  • 1 tbsp avocado oil
  • 1 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts, shredded
  • 1 tsp sriracha (optional)
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 cup green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • Kosher salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Optional: sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Add green onions, garlic powder, soy sauce, salt, pepper, and optional sriracha. Cook until the beef is thoroughly browned.
  2. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, heat avocado oil over medium-high heat. Add shredded Brussels sprouts, seasoning with salt and pepper. Sauté until soft and golden brown (5-7 minutes).
  3. Return the cooked beef to the skillet with Brussels sprouts. Stir in sweet chili sauce and lime juice until well combined and heated through.
  4. Serve hot on its own or over rice or noodles for a complete meal.
