  • 3 large eggs (for cheesecake)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for cheesecake)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (for caramel sauce)
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter (for caramel sauce)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream (for caramel sauce)
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt (for caramel sauce)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a springform pan lightly.
  2. For the brownie layer, melt butter in a saucepan, stir in sugar, add eggs one by one, then mix in vanilla. Combine sifted flour, cocoa powder, and salt; blend into the wet mixture. Pour into the pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  3. For the cheesecake layer, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time followed by vanilla and sour cream.
  4. Once the brownie layer cools slightly, pour the cheesecake mixture on top and bake for another 30-35 minutes until set.
  5. For the caramel sauce, melt sugar until golden brown; stir in butter, then heavy cream until smooth. Add sea salt.
  6. Let the cheesecake cool completely before drizzling with caramel sauce; refrigerate for at least two hours before serving.
