  • 2 Green Onions
  • 1 Tablespoon Oil
  • 1 Tablespoon Ginger + Garlic (combined)
  • 1 Star Anise
  • 1 Bay Leaf
  • 1 Cinnamon Stick
  • 5 cups Broth (or Stock)
  • 1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Rice Vinegar
  • Juice of one Lime

Instructions

  1. Wash bok choy leaves thoroughly and slice them.
  2. Slice green onions, keeping bulbs and stalks separate.
  3. Heat oil in a large pan; sauté green onion bulbs until soft.
  4. Add ginger and garlic mixture, then stir in sliced bok choy for about one minute.
  5. Incorporate star anise, bay leaf, and cinnamon stick.
  6. Pour broth over the mixture; season with soy sauce and rice vinegar.
  7. Bring to a boil, simmer for 8–10 minutes while stirring occasionally.
  8. Stir in lime juice; remove whole spices before serving hot.
