Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 sheets frozen filo pastry (thawed)
  • 50 g butter (melted)
  • 250 g brie (cut into long slices)
  • 275 g cranberry sauce
  • 1/4 cup flaked almonds
  • 1 tbsp black sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180 C / 350 F and line two baking trays with parchment paper.
  2. Cut the thawed filo sheets into thirds lengthwise and then in half widthwise to create 36 squares.
  3. Take one square, brush it with melted butter, and place a slice of brie, a teaspoon of cranberry sauce, and a teaspoon of almond flakes at one end. Roll tightly and pinch both ends to seal.
  4. Repeat until all squares are filled. Place on the prepared trays, brush with remaining butter, and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Garnish if desired before serving.
