  • 1 cup granulated sugar (divided)
  • 4 large eggs (divided)
  • 3 ripe bananas
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • Baking soda and baking powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease two 9×5-inch loaf pans.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese with half of the sugar until smooth. Add one egg and vanilla; mix well. Stir in flour until combined and set aside.
  3. In another bowl, mash bananas before adding melted butter, remaining sugars, eggs, sour cream, and vanilla extract. Mix until blended.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and baking powder; gradually add to wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Pour half of the batter into each prepared pan. Top with cream cheese mixture and finish with remaining batter.
  6. Bake for 50-55 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
