Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 12 oz sirloin or ribeye steak, thick-cut
  • 8 oz large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning, divided
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp butter, divided
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (plus more for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and toss with a little butter.
  2. Pat both the steak and shrimp dry using paper towels. Season the steak generously on both sides with 1 tbsp of Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Season the shrimp with the remaining Cajun seasoning.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the seasoned steak for about 3-4 minutes per side until it reaches medium doneness. Once cooked, let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing into strips.
  4. In the same skillet used for the steak, melt 1 tbsp of butter over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and cook for about 1-2 minutes per side until they are opaque and slightly crispy. Remove them from the skillet and set aside.
  5. Lower the heat to medium. In the same skillet, add 2 tbsp of butter along with minced garlic. Cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream while stirring continuously. Next, add Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  6. Simmer the sauce until it thickens and becomes creamy—around 3-4 minutes. Toss in your cooked fettuccine along with fresh parsley to coat everything evenly.
  7. Top your pasta generously with sliced steak and shrimp. Spoon any remaining sauce over everything before garnishing with extra parsley and freshly ground black pepper.
