  • 2 bags chai tea
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin puree
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream (for whipped topping)
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, bring water to a boil. Remove from heat and steep chai tea bags for 5 minutes. Remove tea bags and stir in pumpkin puree, sugar, vanilla extract, and pumpkin pie spice.
  2. Warm the milk in another saucepan over low heat until hot but not boiling. Froth the milk if desired.
  3. Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the chai mixture over the ice. Top each glass with warm frothed milk.
  4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together heavy cream and powdered sugar until soft peaks form. Spoon whipped cream over each latte.
  5. Optionally sprinkle additional pumpkin pie spice on top before serving.
