  • 240 milliliters warm water
  • 30 milliliters olive oil
  • 13 grams sugar
  • 6 grams salt
  • 170 grams sliced turkey pepperoni
  • 170 grams sliced turkey breast
  • 200 grams shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 50 grams grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 small green bell pepper, thinly sliced (optional)
  • 1 small red onion, thinly sliced (optional)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 egg
  • 15 milliliters water (for egg wash)
  • Marinara sauce (for serving)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water; let sit until frothy (5–10 minutes).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil; mix until dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 8–10 minutes until smooth.
  4. Place dough in an oiled bowl, cover, and let rise for 60–90 minutes until doubled.
  5. Roll out dough into a rectangle (30 x 40 cm) on a floured surface.
  6. Layer turkey pepperoni, turkey slices, mozzarella cheese, and optional vegetables on the dough.
  7. Roll tightly from one long edge and pinch seams to seal.
  8. Place seam-side down on parchment-lined baking sheet; brush with egg wash and make slashes on top.
  9. Bake at 200°C for 25–30 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Let cool briefly before slicing; serve warm with marinara sauce.
