It’s indulgent, elegant, and surprisingly easy to prepare for a decadent weeknight meal or special occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • For the Gnocchi
  • 500 g potato gnocchi
  • For the Creamy Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon truffle oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the gnocchi and cook according to package instructions. Once they float to the surface, cook for about 1 minute more, then drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.
  • Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to brown it.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Let it cook for 3 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened.
  • Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and mix until melted and smooth.
  • Add the cooked gnocchi to the skillet and gently toss to coat evenly in the sauce.
  • Drizzle in the truffle oil and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  • Cook for another 1 to 2 minutes until everything is heated through and well combined.
  • Serve immediately, optionally garnished with extra Parmesan and parsley.
