  • 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup jelly (grape, strawberry, or your favorite flavor)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth. Stir in peanut butter, sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, and egg until combined.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients until just combined.
  4. Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Top with dollops of jelly and swirl gently with a toothpick.
  5. Add the remaining batter on top and repeat with more jelly dollops and swirling.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool for at least 10 minutes in the pan before transferring to a wire rack.
