  • Sea salt and cracked black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil (or olive oil)
  • 8 slices nitrate-free turkey bacon
  • 4 large hardboiled eggs
  • 8 cups romaine lettuce (roughly chopped)
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes (halved)
  • 1 small red onion (thinly sliced)
  • 1 large avocado (thinly sliced)
  • 1 medium ripe avocado (for dressing)
  • 1/3 cup almond milk Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons plain almond milk
  • 1/3 cup cilantro leaves
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice

Instructions

  1. Cook turkey bacon until crispy; crumble into pieces.
  2. Hard boil the eggs and set aside to cool.
  3. Season the flank steak with sea salt and black pepper.
  4. Heat oil in a cast iron skillet or grill over medium-high heat; cook steak for about 3 minutes each side for medium rare.
  5. Allow the steak to rest before slicing thinly against the grain.
